Invado's 13th Annual Movember Mo'Volley, in support of Movember Canada is BACK. So, hair we go again...please join us on Sunday, MOVEMBER 16th, for a day filled with amazing co-ed 6s volleyball, amazing people, and - of course - amazing facial hair (for all levels of play)!
Movember's mission is to change the face of men's health. "We’re doing what others can’t. We unite experts from around the world to collaborate on projects that will fundamentally change the way men in need are treated and supported. To ensure our impact is significant, far-reaching and long-lasting, we prioritize funding for the three biggest health issues facing men: mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer."
As with all Invado charity events, $50 from each team fee and $10 from each individual fee will be heading directly to the organization dedicated to raising funds to help fight various forms of male cancer and raise awareness for male mental health issues, so, please register on your own, with a friend, or as a team (min. 2 females on the court at all times) for this amazing FULL DAY of volleyball (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) - featuring a HOT PLAYLIST, friendly faces, and NON-TIMED matches all day long in support of a great cause!Need a hand finding more players for your team? No problem - register as an 'Individual' and we'll build a team with like-skilled players for you - OR - join our TEAM BUILDER FACEBOOK GROUP and find the player(s) or team you need today! NOTE - SUNDAY tourney deadlines are always at 5 PM on the preceding Thursday...or until all the spots are gone!- Location: Kingsway College (Fitness Complex)
- Time: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (approx)
- Team Format: Co-ed 6's (at least 2 females on the court)
- Age Group: Adult (ages 16+)
- Net Height: Men's Height
- Tiered: Yes - separate pools for teams of all skill levels (rec-int-comp-elite)
- Tourney Format: full matches all day (non-timed games)
- Playoffs: tiered based on pool play - all teams qualify (best 2/3 format)
- MINIMUM # of Games: min. guarantee of 6 FULL sets to 25 points
- Roster Max: 7 players
