  **CASH PRIZE Spirit Awards** Awarded for the team & individual with the MOST spirit & BEST outfits. Winners will be announced at the tournament & on socials - so be sure to come decked out in purple!
  
  Invado's 9th Annual 'Play for Kay' is back in support of Grandview Kids and in memory of the bravest little girl we ever knew! Please join us on Sunday, May 4th, for a great day of volleyball, complete with great music, great people, separate divisions for players of ALL SKILL LEVELS - and all in support of a great cause!
  
  For those of you who don't know, in 2007, Kaylyn was born with a rare genetic condition called partial trisomy 16p+; a reality that would, optimistically, see her survive for only 6 months.  But Kaylyn - being the fighter she was - baffled doctors with her spirit and happiness through 6 amazingly full years of experiences, love and support from her family (Stacey, Shane, and little sister Zoey), their friends, and the amazing staff at Grandview Kids.
  
  Kay's father, Shane (a close friend of the Invado family, long-time volleyball player & OCAA/club coach), said that "Grandview gave Kaylyn opportunities the doctors said she would never have.  Her quality of life was better because of the people at Grandview, and we are extremely thankful.  They completely changed her life and ours.  Everything the doctors said she wouldn't do - she did."  Grandview Kids supports so many children and families - and now it's our opportunity to give back.
  
  So, let's bring everyone together once again this year and honour Kay through something 'near and dear' to the Christopher family - volleyball!
  
  As with our tourney each year, $50 from each team fee and $10 from each individual fee will be heading directly to Grandview Kids. So, please register on your own, with a friend, or as a team (min. 2 females on the court at all times) for this amazing FULL DAY of volleyball (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM approx), complete with full NON-TIMED matches, all day long in support of a great cause and in memory of an even greater kid!
  
  NOTE - the deadline is at 5 PM on the Thursday before the tourney...or until all the spots are gone again!
  
  Location: Kingsway College (Fitness Complex)
  Time: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (approx)
  Team Format: Co-ed 6's (at least 2 females on the court)
  Age Group: Adult (ages 16+)
  Net Height: Men's Height
  Tiered: Yes - separate pools for teams of all skill levels (rec-int-comp-elite)
  Tourney Format: full matches all day (non-timed games)
  Playoffs: tiered based on pool play - all teams qualify (best 2/3 format)
  MINIMUM # of Games: 3 matches or 6 FULL sets to 25 points (guaranteed)
  Roster Max: 7 players
  Prizes: Limited Edition Invado HOODIES
