COVID = Come On...Volleyball Isn't Done!
Invado Volleyball has been working with municipal & provincial authorities to ensure that the game of volleyball can SAFELY return to the beaches and sand courts throughout the province.
At present, it appears as though many sporting activities will be able to re-start, at some point, in the month of June - but to err on the side of caution, Invado adult & youth beach volleyball league start dates have been pushed to July and will run into late August/early September. Social distancing guidelines will apply to all staff & players OFF the courts...and could even help players better stay in their positions on the court (i.e. now you'll have science & public safety on your side when you tell 'that teammate' to stay out of your way).
Equipment will be wiped down & sanitized more frequently throughout league nights (disinfectant wipes) and hand sanitizer will be provided on-site for league members to use at the start and at the end of each time slot (of course, soap & water is best if your location has indoor washroom facilities on-site).
As a result of the shifted start dates, we have extended our summer registration deadlines until June 15, however, please keep in mind that several league nights are already close to being SOLD OUT, so please be sure to sign-up for your preferred league as soon as possible. Doing so, will help ensure that you get to play on the night you/your child wants AND help us start up as soon as possible after the 'green light' has been given by provincial & local governments.
If an unexpected turn occurs and the summer leagues are unable to run (yikes!), we'll provide full refunds or allow registrants to transfer fees over to one of our fall/winter leagues, if preferred.
Can't wait to dance & play in the sun & sand again...when it's safe to do so.
