Let's Celebrate & Do Some Good! Share

Bethesda House Women's Shelter Oshawa volleyball tournaments

It's been a fabulous 15-year run - and we're just getting started!  The small company 'east of the city' has grown into one of Canada's largest volleyball providers and we couldn't have done it without you.  So, we think it would be fitting to celebrate Invado's 15th birthday with some of our closest friends, favourite players, and in support of a community cause which we've been wanting to support for a very long time.

The Bethesda House has been a pillar in the Durham Region since 1992 and provides much needed support for women & children who are victims of domestic abuse.  Since its inception in 1992, Bethesda House has evolved from solely providing much-needed shelter for women and children, into a full-service agency, complete with a network of programs aimed at providing long-term and meaningful help to those in need.

Invado Volleyball shares Bethesda House's belief that domestic abuse is an issue which, not only, affects women, but the entire community - and that children deserve to grow up in a safe environment where men & women are seen as partners in the singular goal of eradicating abuse.

So, on Sunday January 28 we're hoping that men and women - of all skill levels (ages 16 & older) - can come together on the courts, in order to help us celebrate our 15th year and support a cause which is near & dear.  Please, use the 'Tournaments' link above to register on your own, with a friend, or as a co-ed 6s team (4 males + 2 females) by Wed Jan 24 - and help show our community that volleyball players care.

As with all Invado charitable events, $50 from each team fee & $10 from each individual fee will head, directly, to Bethesda House, and start times may be staggered for various divisions, in order to accommodate as many teams as possible.  Please ensure that you or your teammates are available to play from 8:30am to 6:00pm - just in case - and please wear your Invado tees (if you've got one) to show your support as we celebrate this milestone event!
