Hey Invado Nation -

It's been a crazy stretch for sure, but we've finally got a handle, a plan, and a fairly clear idea of when we'll be able to welcome everyone back onto the sand and under the sun in 2021!  During the past few weeks of fighting & scrambling behind the scenes, not every session and city 'made it out unscathed,' unfortunately, so please scroll down for more info on what changes we needed to make this spring & summer....

COBOURG & OSHAWA BEACH LEAGUES CANCELLED:

Unfortunately (and understandably) registrant confidence was low in both locations after each municipality closed their beaches to our leagues back in 2020.  There were no guarantees that we'd have access to the sand or grass in each location in 2021, either, so between the uncertainty and the low registration numbers, we were forced to cancel all beach volleyball programming in each location.  Refunds were processed for all registrants and we hope that most/all of you can still join us in nearby Pickering or Peterborough, starting in July!

ONLY ONE SESSION RUNNING IN 2021:

Due to the delays caused by the provincial government's 'reopening plan' - and the required shift of our 10-week Spring Session - we will be unable to offer an 8-week SUMMER Session at the end of the summer in 2021.

While small group TRAINING can begin in 'Step 1' of the province's plan, LEAGUES & game-play can only commence in 'Step 2,' which at present is slated for early July.  Spring Session dates have been updated on each league page accordingly, and Summer Sessions have been removed from the site.

FYI - the single 10-WEEK SPRING SESSION is now scheduled to run from early July until early September.

Our hope was that the provincial government would have permitted outdoor LEAGUES to start early enough to allow for 2 sessions this year, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case.  Based on current projections, even an abbreviated second session would have needed to run into late October and, of course, earlier sunsets won't allow for outdoor programming that far into the fall.

Full refunds for all SUMMER SESSION registrants are being processed and we encourage all interested players to sign-up for our 10-week SPRING SESSIONS (if you haven't already).  NOTE: even spring leagues previously marked as sold out have been opened up for a limited time (as we left room for additional teams in the event of such a scenario).

Thanks so much for your continued patience & understanding...and we hope to see you all back out on the sand in early July!
